With the advancement in technology, we have been introduced to many new ideas and applications which have made life easier for us. Technology has grown in such a fast pace that now we don’t need to have hard cash in our wallets because of the introduction of digital wallets such as Google Pay, Phone Pay, Amazon Pay, and so on. This is just an example. There are many other fields where we have seen improvements with development in Technology. As technology has its pros, it too has its cons because it easily misguides and misleads us as well.
In the education sector as well, there has been a rapid growth with everything now available online. Many tutorial centers have launched their online portals for providing online courses on different topics. But, some so called
training centers are also misleading the students as well as their parents by exploiting the most dangerous loophole: “ Lack of knowledge “. Such has been the effect that many online courses charge up to INR 2,00,000 for students to
enroll to their courses where they just follow a simple course curriculum pre-designed to achieve their objectives without even paying attention to the all-round development of the child/student. By enrolling to these courses not only are the parents wasting their hard-earned money, but also depriving their child from learning something in a way which actually suits them and makes them future-ready. We are not judging their choices, but what we want to express here is that if this trend keeps on continuing, then the day is not far when every student or aspiring learner will be deprived of proper education and knowledge and we will only end up filling the pockets of scammers and fraudsters with our hard-earned money. We are just trying to highlight that there are loads of free online courses where a child can very easily learn great stuff absolutely for free. Some of these sites are freecodecamp.org, w3schools.com, etc.
With this frame of mind, we have started an YouTube Channel named “ Coders Arcade ” to make learning easy, simplified and fun for all the aspiring learners, viewers and students.
